Deciding on which designer I wanted to choose for the Great Minds assignment wasn’t easy. I was instantly drawn to Lucian Bernhard because of the simplicity and scope of his work. Then I was drawn to David Carson because of his insane use of type and bad-boy image. Then it was Milton Glaser, then April Greiman, Chip Kidd, Paul Rand…the list goes on. After spending about a month researching designers and going back and forth deciding who to pick, I went with my instinct and chose Lucian Bernhard and boy am I glad I did.
